Dammit, why do they always play Friday nights... I have class Friday from 6-9.

Holy s*** Khabibulin has a GAA under 1?!

The Bulin wall is back.

I think this game will be a goaltending battle. Howard vs. Khabibulin. Howard better keep the Oilers young guns at bay, and the Wings better find some snipers quick.

I watch a lot of Edmonton games. They are fast and have a pretty good power play but they also can take a lot of dumb penalties. If the Wings play for a full 60 min and put pressure on their D the Wings will be fine. This is a team that never quits!

4-3 Wings

The B's put up 6 last night on the Oil, I think the young legs are hitting a bit of a slow down, I am sure they will have a resurgence soon. But Smyth was a driving force and the Oil had way too many late game turn overs coming out of their own zone.

Marchand had three chances at that last goal, he stole the puck twice in a row almost in the same spot, skated down the left wing, waited for bodies in front and tried to snipe a corner, successful on his third shot of the two odd man rushes in about 45 seconds.

They made sloppy plays at both blue lines.

Lets hope their play continues!

SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT THE PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!

Oh, should I wait until after warmups to yell that at them?

Or should I start now to get the idea into their heads?

You're in a different time zone, so you should probably start now so the sound waves have time to get over to the Joe.

I'll catch the replay after work but I hope the keep chugging along here. Edmonton is looking good and our guys will have their hands full with the top two lines tonite. Jimmy will need to be huge and I think Dats is going to have a big nite and I also hope Bruno and Huds get on the board as well.

As others said, the Oil took a beating last night in Boston, but they saved their red-hot keeper for tonight. I think it's going to come down to whether the Wings can crack 'Bulin early because if they do, even the young Oilers team may not have the legs left to rally and play from behind.

Let's Go WINGS!

The real question is how did you get stuck with class til 9 on a friday?!

In my usual state at 9 on a friday I wouldn't even be able to read the slides and probably get thrown out for heckling the prof :hehe:

But anyways, good young team in the oil but hopefully theyre tired from last nights game vs the B's
