Three games isn't enough. That hit is pretty much as dirty as it gets.

So I guess Stewart's not a star player.

I guessed right, then. Nice. Another Shanaban in the books.

I thought he'd get 2-3, which is consistent with previous Shanabans.
And it wasn't "dirty". There was no intent to injure.
Did you watch the Shanahan explanation and breakdown of the hit?

You have no basis for saying that there was no intent to injure. There may not have been but it sure looks like there is from the positioning of the players and Kronner's distance from the boards.

You totally need to trademark "Shanaban".

3 games is fair, considering that he had no priors.

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Hamsters' names (current players in RED):  Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

                                                                      Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

                                                                      Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

                                                                      Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

And introducing:  Jordin Damien Gustav James

TOTAL SO FAR: $27

I'm happy that justice was swift and proper. The next time St. Louis comes to town, you can bet that the boo birds will be loud and long for that douchebag. When Nik came back last night, I thought I was seeing things. I never thought he'd be back. The power of the mind can be a wonderful thing.

Uh...ya, of course you aren't going to see it as dirty....and it was Yzerman's fault that Pronger injured his knee too.

Maybe there was no intent to injure, but it was a very dirty hit...ANY hit from behind is dirty, especially when the guy is 10 feet away from the boards and he not only gets hit, but shoved as well. Very dirty and naughty....he deserved at least 5 games.

Wasn't talking to you my friend.

Was talking to someone else who seemingly forgot.

With all the Cups he won here, I think Shanny forgot he played for the Blues too...

NOBODY who is old enough forgot that he played for the Blues, but how about maybe the younger fans who were just born when Shanny played there? For the most part, all they remember is him playing in Detroit and NYR...

Think a minute...it was nearly 20 years ago he last played there...sheesh...

Now, with that said...I figure Stewart will get suspended, but I can't imagine it will be for 8 games.
I'm going to say 2 or 3 games.

I recognize you. You're the fellow commenting all over the YouTube videos of this incident, claiming that Stewart did nothing wrong and should not be suspended at all.

Kerry Fraser's opinion

Answering to a person who thinks Kronwall flopped. Fraser isn't afraid to mention the word "paralyzed" and makes a case for Stewart being suspended for 5 games.

Stewart approach was unimpeded and with speed. Given the close proximity of Kronwall to the boards and the other factors I have mentioned Chris Stewart must come to the conclusion in advance that any excessive force exerted through a hard, full extension push from behind could result in serious injury to his vulnerable opponent.

Kerry Fraser isn't being a **** toward a Red Wing? Alert the news media. I remember, whenever he'd use to ref Avs/Wings games back in the 90s, he always found some way to f*** us over. Ticky-tack calls late in the game, not calling egregious penalties, you name it. I hated that guy.
