hope they call it after 2 periods no point in playing the 3rd, Howard can't save anything and the Wings will just tire themselves out trying to score on Niemi which they can't

We are shooting our self in the foot again. The Shortie goal was horrible, the 3 on 1 Goal was horrible, and the 3rd goal was them running circles around us in our own zone. Just plain bad hockey. Our only goal this game was a pinball goal that Kronwall shanked the shot on somewhat and Boyle punched in.

i guess if we don't score 5, we're gonna score 1.
tonight will probably be the 1. right now i can't imagine us getting to the 4 required to win this game.

Howard had to have that 3rd goal... he just cannot be beaten like that. BUT the bigger problem is Zetterberg has been BRUTAL tonite along with Fil... too quiet. Pavs has been good with his line though which is something positive. But the Wings need to wake up this period.
Z has been nowhere near where he was a few years ago and it has become more and more noticeable each game. The 2nd goal was just a classic example of what has been the case with him, can't get a shot off because he is too SLOW and right back at them a goal for SJ.
