More like cleary is our only good player
Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

"Zetterberg isn't even half the player he used to be."
"Datsyuk is simply a clown."
"Franzen is the softest 'power forward' in the league."
"Who or what is a Filppula?"

Hey, hey! Teams don't do that.. oh wait, we don't. We lose and get beat up on top of it.
this is why we need enforcerz. if we are going to suck might as well crack some skulls in the process.

Well, we've stayed up this long, may as well finish the game.
That depends on how much you want to torture yourself.

That's hockey haha, it's how it works. Hell I don't even want an enforcer, I just want a few players with some toughness and some guts.

He won't, he's had a chance after 2 straight playoff exits against the same team that's kicking there ass tonight and still has not made any significant changes.
For Christ's sake, what do you want him to do? Parise is playing out of his mind, do you think New Jersey is going to part with him right now? In the off-season there was nobody of any value. Holland is a great GM but he can only do so much if no one wants to do business with him.
This season is so crazy and all over the place. I'm tired of losing to San Jose. They are the one team that just has their way with Detroit over and over. I turned off the game. First game I haven't finished watching because of anger in years. Total garbage. The Wings dominate, yet San Jose still trounces them. it's the same old story. Wings spend 10 minutes in San Jose's zone, San Jose breaks out, scores. Wings go right back, spending 10 minutes in San Jose's zone, SJ breaks out, scores. Rinse, repeat.
Terrible luck against San Jose. I'll say it again, the Wings will make a move at the deadline, but don't get all over Holland because he's not doing something right now. He can't.

It's kind of like being Statler and/or Waldorf at this point in this kind of game.

Yepp, the redundant bros. The best 3rd/4th liner with grit we have doesn't even play most nights in Eaves. Put Eaves on RW with a Zenon Konopka (3 points +2 71 PIMs this season) and a big LW alaf****** Brad Winchester who was also available and the Wings got a heck of a versitile 4th line. Instead we have Miller-Emmerton-Holmstrom/Brunnstrom
Then again our problem is scoring and we have all these skillish players in the line-up and they ain't getting s*** done, so maybe a bit more grit couldn't hurt.
