Anyone wonder if they’ll start Conklin in this one?

I don't think so. The Wings right now are just a couple points out of 1st in the conference, and only a loss or two away from something like 13th. I think they'll want to get Howard out there to get us another win to build a bit more of a cushion, and then next game play Conklin, because a loss wouldn't be quite as devastating.

Rather play with Howard against a division opponent and then play with Conklin against Tampa.

Does anyone else think Ericsson should sit out a game or two?

Would love that, but oddly enough Babs seems to see something he does 'good' on the ice and keeps playing him. Ericsson the last 4 games hasn't done anything warranting any ice time. Hes had numerous giveaways, numerous penalties, numerous decision making lapses (pinching at BAD times) and numerous shots that missed the net by 4-5 feet when in the middle of the slot.

Always a tough game versus the Preds, this one will be no different. The Preds are on a 3 game losing streak, which will make them play a good game against the Wings. I foresee a tight game, where the Wings look tired after yesterdays battle against Boston. In the end, I think the Wings will win 4-2, with Pavel leading the way. GO WINGS!

Hopefully our soft euros come to play today and don't get physically manhandled tonight. They are so soft and euro that I could see us winning again but hopefully they don't play too euro and get dominated because of how soft they are.

EDIT: Bad day = broken sarcasm detector...

Lol...Oooook!

I think the Wings handled Boston just fine considering they played in beast mode...on home ice...and the wings put up 32 shots and won? Sounds like a good road game to me. Heck they never buckled the entire game, the Wings fought just as hard for every inch of the ice. So the guys we root for are not 250 pound giants..., but they held their ground. They didn't play intimidated (although the first period it looked like they were caught off gaurd).

My point is, is that Boston is bigger and plays a much more physical game than Nashville. If the Wings held their own yesterday, they can handle their own today. Now that doesn't go without saying that adding a Weber/Thorton/Chara type to their roster would help. :D

Pretty sure Konnan was mimicking other posters here.
