14-3 Wings (Sorry Stevie)
"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

3 games in hand and only 2 points out of 1st in the conference, I like where we are sitting!!

Wings 3 (Mule, Kronners, and Dats (OT))
Lighting (Stamkos and Pyatt)

Let's Go Wings!!
What kind of color is red? Red is a warning. A declaration. A color that says I'm ready to do what it takes. Red is focused and Driven because red doesn't like second place. So what Kind of color is red? Our kind" - The Red Wing Army

Predicting a Wings win, will be a close game, but 4-2 wings with an EN

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

“Told him if he wasn't ultra-competitive he couldn't come here. If he didn't bring it every day he couldn't come here, because he was going to hate it if he didn't, dislike the coach and dislike playing here.

More than likely just going with the hot hand.

"All done? Five bucks." - Pavel Datsyuk after an interview
"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

I'm so pumped for this game.

I'm not going to shave my "no-shave-november" beard till this one is over. Just to be safe.

I've got my stache going for this one as well. It'll be sad to see it go, but hopefully the facial hair will be back- and for more than a month- come spring.

This reminds me of Jimmy's rookie season. Bab's is going to burn him out if he doesn't give him a break.

Wings-4 TB-1. Detroit puts it away early.

From now on, Patrick Roy will be rolled out to and from the Avs' bench like Hannibal Lecter. - BottleOfSmoke

I really like the new (last couple of games new not brand new: for clarity) first line!

According to NHL.com

'The Lightning have won just once in 14 games ever at Joe Louis Arena. Their only win in Detroit came Jan. 12, 1994. They have 12 losses and one tie there.'

4-1 Wings.
