How can an absolute dominant performance only get 10 pages?!

Guys like Bert and Huds need to bring this type of A game to them when going up against Pittsburgh, San Jose, Vancouver for us to be cup favorites.

Bit of a schedule win to be sure but you don't score seven goals by accident. No weak links tonight, everyone carried their weight and 7-1 is the result.

Massive domination by the Wings. Good to see, and hopefully we can keep it up awhile.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

I would venture to guess the dominant performance was not, shall we say, unexpected. We've always pretty much taken it to Atlanta, and they're coming off a game last night AND travel. The score is an unexpected bonus, but the win was pretty much a gimme. Of course, it IS the Wings we're taking about, so I guess you truly never know.
Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.

Hudler's interview was good. He seemed a bit upset when his play last year was mentioned. I'm glad he still is disappointed in his play last season.

Easy question. The Wings are winning. So the critics are happy.

Yay! another GDT :) Hopefully this one will be busier for you Mike.

I haven't paid any attention to the Jets this season so I don't know what to expect but love their new logo....and that's it. Wings will hopefully have another good night tomorrow, we couldn't have used up all our goals for the week :P

St. Louis is up on San Jose, 1-0. I want St. Louis to lose because they're way too close for comfort in the standings but I'd like for San Jose to lose as well.

I can only hope that this is the same Wings team I get to see on Thursday! Who else is coming to Nashville?

Sorry...guess that's what happens when we have a good game. Although there seems to be a lot less people on here during games as well.

Missed this one due to running errands plus grocery and xmas shopping with the wife (should have been last night but I got called to sub in on bass for a jazz gig as we were heading out the door).

Got it on the dvr so it should be a fun watch after the organ gig tomorrow AM. I've gotta say it was quite nice to walk in to a Barnes & Noble with wi-fi to find the score was 2-1 as we entered and it hit 6-1 as we were in line to check out.

Thanks for the info in the gdt as always, but I've got to know: how was the live mic on Homer?
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

My hate for the Sharks is more than my dislike of the Blues.

The Blues' luck will run out soon. We should hope for more San Jose losses, because those guys will creep up in the standings in March-April, while St. Louis is probably struggling to remain in the playoff picture.
