Agreed, but Rinne made some good saves to keep them in it and missed opportunities came back to bite the Wings and cost them. I think Conner was missed more than people expected.

The one thing that upsets me the most was on the game tying goal...instead of pushing him out of the way of screening Howard...Stuart just stands right next to him and furthermore screens Howard. Ugh..Stuart is almost as bad as Ericsson in mental goofs it seems....

Yeah, it was a bad bounce, but they still let up the last five minutes - being content to just flip the puck out of their zone, instead of skate it out, trying to create some offense. Those of us who have watched this kind of crap for years had that feeling in our stomachs half-way through the 3rd period.
Yes, they played hard - for about 50 minutes.
