It might be more front loaded than Carolina can handle, being a smaller market team. Wonder when that first signing bonus is due. They could potentially trade him right after matching. Forgot about the year rule. Theyd be dumb to not match. But 21 mill in that first untradeable year is a lot. Also, habs have 11.8 mill in cap space. With three of their own RFAs to re-sign.
