OT: Best bars pre- and post-game

Where do Detroit fans recommend hanging out before and after games? I've been to the Hockeytown Cafe and the Post bar in prior visits and have been recommended to do Nemo's by some fellow blues fans. This will be a NYE Saturday night and I'm sure some bars will have certain pricey covers and be packed.

Where's your to-go bar for pre- and post-games?

I only goto Nemo's. Free, secure parking. $3 shuttle to and from the Joe. Good drink prices and the best burger youll ever have in your life.

I usually hang out at the Old Shillelagh before and after games. They have good beer, and the shuttle to the Joe is free. I haven't been to Nemo's yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I'll probably go there before my next game.

Pre-game. The Detroiter Bar. Wings fan galore, good prices, good beer selection, good food, free shuttle to the game that picks and drops off directly outside of front door, AND...they'll give you a plastic cup to take your beer with you on the shuttle. Very close to Greektown.

Post game. Loco's. Mexican restaurant in Greektown. Great, reasonably priced food to soak up the beers from the past 8 few hours.

I've hung out at the Detroiter, though not around game time. The only pre-game bar trips I make are for Tigers games and I always go to Bookie's on Cass.

They offer a free shuttle to Tigers games that you are allowed to take your drinks on, I'd be surprised if they didn't do the same for Wings games.
