If that were Cindy, he would've flopped all over the place both times. I cannot believe there is any thought that Cindy is half the complete player Datsyuk is...and that is NOT said through rose glasses.

this is what separates pav from every other player i've ever seen.

he's so unpredictable.

you never know going into a corner whether he's going for the puck first, gonna let you take it then strip you, throw the shoulder, allow you to hit him first.

he is a true game changer and sneaky as hell.

Can't we just enjoy Datsyuk knocking Weber on his ass without having to talk or think about you know who?

I thought Pavs was another of our team's soft Euros that are ruining the game? I can't keep up with the talking points here.

He came right back at Chara after a cheap hit the other day too. Nothing's free against Pavs!!

If there was a Slavic equivalent to the Norse god Loki, I'd say Pavel channeled him nightly.

Nobody lives forever.
Some things never die.
Like up in the land of ice and snow,
They tell me that a Red Wing always flies.

How about the moon god Jarilo? He doesn't have Loki's trickster aspects, but he was considered to be ever-changing and mysterious, being linked to the moon.

*takes off nerdy folklorist hat*

Pavel proves night in and night out that "toughness" has more aspects than you would think of at first.

I love when Pav surprises people with hits. He does it all the time. But Shanny is a bigger boss.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCRF5EpPNwU&feature=related

This is the top comment right now for this video. Which I thought was hilarious.

"I'm Brendan Shanahan, the National Hockey League's senior Vice-President of Player Safety, last night in Carolina, an incident occurred during a playoff game between the Detroit Red Wings and Carolina Hurricanes. At 4:17 in the 3rd period, some hairy ***** started yelling at me. So I told her to go shave her greasy f***ed up armpits. The video clearly shows that this revolting lesbian does, indeed, need to keep her unruly bodyhair under control. For these reasons, I am the man."

lol.

No one has ever said that about Pavel. You guys who keep making this sarcastic comment far outnumber the times people actually said it and mean it.

That anyone would say it once and mean it is a problem.
