Thanks for showing up for 20 minutes, Red Wings.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

Man, if Z and Mule could have buried those, it would have been 4-3.

Some things never die.
Like up in the land of ice and snow,
They tell me that a Red Wing always flies.

Just like the San Jose series: they wait too long to turn it on.

2 s***ty periods go in, 1 decent one comes out. You can't explain that.

They're trying to kill me. Some excellent chances, but no cigar. Franzen, really? You couldn't bury that puck? 18 seconds left and the Wings keep pluggin'.

His play really bugs me sometimes. He did not even put up a challenge for that puck.

Babs probably threatened their Xmas break if they didn't step it up.

Babcock bitched them out after two periods of crap hockey. The wings deserved to lose tonight.

Red Wings' catch-up hockey and pressure they are able to exert may be spectacular to watch, but in the end, it is losing hockey.

More importantly, as they get back into it, I go from having fully accepted the loss to blood boiling, ready to bite heads off.
It usually ends up in me breaking something. And screaming.

f***.

At least the Flames won't make the playoffs.

Time to get back to the Joe, and destroy whoever is next.

As others touched on, we play like we did the final 15 minutes for the whole 60 and this game has a very different outcome... embarrassing start..

All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:

Here in this thread

Here in this one as well

Here in this one too

and finally

Here

Holland is a damn good GM. period.

Can't win games in this league only playing for 20 minutes. They got what they deserved.

It just pisses me off even more they can show that kind of effort in the third when they should be the most tired. I can take losing, but this garbage of not going hard for 60 minutes is frustrating. The Red Wings can dominate seemingly whenever they want to and yet there have been so many stretches this season where they don't even look like they want to be there.

Huge week of games coming up. Gotta re-focus after Christmas and do some damage against the Central.

Was at the game, Wings gave them a sweat anyhow. As mentioned, wish the third was the whole game, though Conks should have had both Glencross goals.
