Wingznut 14 Report post Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) "Kopetsky" would be correct. In many Slavic languages, the letter 'c' without an accent makes a 'ts' sound. So Kopecky would sound like "Kopetsky" As someone of Polish descent, who's last name ends in "cki", I can vouch for under_par's explanation.
