NHL's over-promoting the WC makes me sick.

How come? It's one of the year's marquee games.

NHL.com - Martin Biron's helmet camera

A nice video of saving pucks from goalie's point of view.

24/7 is being re-re-re-played on HBO right now, if you need something to kill time before the game. :P

Yup.....got it in the thread signature, just forgot to change it in the graphic in the OP.

Unfortunately, I'll have to miss this one.

DVR? I am hanging out at home, waiting for a service guy to come and install my gas fireplace logs. Office is closed, but I assume you have to work, Mike?

Bryz. I am trying to decide if he's funny or just tiresome, at this point.

I want to say there was one in the Bruins/Flyers game... Carcillo and ?

You would expect a fight or two this time around, with Flyers and Rangers... we shall see?

I believe there's been at least one in every game. I'm almost positive you'll see at least one throw down. Prust with someone or Rupp and Mr. Irrelevant? :hehe:

Rats. I had planned my day around this, and they move it. I will not be able to see it. Go...

um, Rangers, I guess.

Money on the board:  Current total: 0

$1 for a goal by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster.  An additional $5 for a series-clinching goal scored by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster. $5 if the other team fails to score against a current Wing goalie after whom I have named a hamster.

Hamsters I have had:  (current Wings highlighted)

Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

Niklas Matthew Daniel Robert

Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

Jordin Damien Gustav James

Our gas fire place had no diagram for log placement, so it was indeed a MENSA test if i've ever seen one. (I failed  , my wife succeeded  .

Too much to do to watch the game today. Better get off the internet and get back at it. Ciao.

I wasn't going to watch this game; Philly is dead to me until they get rid of Pronger and I just can't work myself up to feel anything for NY, but I'm getting sucked in with all the pre-game.

GO RAGS!!
Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.
