Here's hoping for a repeat of the 2007 game.

Detroit has about $5 million in cap space.

And Holland signs players, not my boy Mike Illitch. :P

You can say that again.

And there's game. Of course they get the puck luck.

I'll give Conks credit for a good follow-up to the Chicago game...

...of course, as I say that... <_<

I think it's time to turn off the game, it's too painful to watch now. I feel so bad for Ty.

I realize Holland doesn't want to overreact since the Wings are technically up with the elite in the rankings, but I hope he doesn't be too complacent since they're not COMFORTABLY among the elite. Make a move soon so the new player will have time to gel before playoffs.

Either give Joey Mac the backup spot or trade for a finisher and a backup goalie.

That WAS a nice deflection. It's hard to believe the Isles aren't a better team.

I hate games like this because the Wings get blown out and don't hit anyone, just kinda phone it in and go through the motions.

Can't blame Conks tonight. The entire team was flat and he's had no chance on the goals. The Tavares goal that made it 2-0 is the only debatable one.

What a horrible piss-poor disgrace of a performance.

Every player that played in a Detroit jersey tonight needs to be hanging their heads in shame.

First game of the year I've turned off. Thanks, Red Wings, great effort.
