Will be at the game tonight, bummed Datsyuk and Howard aren't playing. However, its going to be a good game with a big Wings Win!

Lets Go Wings.

Last time I was in Uniondale the wings lost 6-0 so lets try to erase that nightmare from 2 years ago.

I wonder if that had anything to do with Kane's several lumberjack chops right to Datsyuk's "groin" in the final seconds of OT.

I blame Teows for jumping on his back down ice before he scored the GWG.

I'll make the necessary changes in the OP soon.

"All done? Five bucks." - Pavel Datsyuk after an interview

Just think of it this way, Kane had several chops at that but couldn't knock that tree down. Just shows that Kane is a pansy.

Exact same situation. First game there since that horrible, horrible night.

I'm hoping we can actually beat the Isles like we should. I'm hoping Conks has another decent game.

I miss Pavel already :(
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

How about a win, but less coronary-inducing. Say, 5-0.

Nabby would've gotten 41 saves and some highlight reel ones if he played against us... lol

This should be fun. I actually have been playing as the Islanders in GM mode on NHL 12 for a month now so I have gotten to know the players pretty well. (Well... names, positions and video game stats). I like to pick a crappy team and make them into a dynasty like last year I did one with the Panthers. Moulson is turning into a star for that team. He has a great shot so hopefully whoever matches up with him plays at a high tempo and doesn't give him much room because he will bury it. Wings have too much skill though to let this one slide even with the players out. 5-3 Wings.

This is an opportunity for them to dominate a game and gain skill. They need to keep par with Chicago and match Vancouver. :siren: :siren: :siren: :siren:

I hate to be the potential bearer of bad news, but...

Datsyuk's probably out trying to get back to being a baritone after what Kane did to him. Posted Image

I'm hoping Conks proves he can still play at a top level. I can't really bash on him even though he hasn't played too great the few times he has played this season but in the end, as long as they're playing for the winged wheel, I'll always support them regardless of how bad they can possibly play. In the end that's what being a fan is all about right? Also looking forward to Z stepping up to make up for Datsyuk not being there as he has done the past few Datsyuk-less occasions.
I know the Islanders are around the bottom but there are no more freebies nowadays. I remember a few seasons ago when the Wings were 1st in the league and Isles were dead bottom, we still got our asses handed to us haha. That being said, don't let your guard down Wings!

Hoping there's a gaffe for the Islanders tonight, and I'm not talking jersey pricing.

Per Keating, it's Pav's groin. Hope it's not too bad, those groins can be mischievous.

I rest my case about Kane's potential part in that. And Eddie O missed that one too!..Posted Image
