What is with that projected line-up? Kindl was good against NYI and should be in.

I think Datsyuk will miss this one too, and so we'll see something like this:

Filppula - Zetterberg - Hudler

Franzen - Abdelkader - Bertuzzi

Miller - Helm - Cleary

Holmstrom - Emmerton - Mursak

Apparently, Dats is under strict orders from the KGB to not reveal when he'll be back, but said that he hoped he would play against Phoenix.

I hope those projected lines are just that...projected. Dan Cleary is NOT a top 6 forward. He has proven where he is most valuable, damn you Babcock! Here are the game winning lines:

Franzen - Dastyuk - Bertuzzi

Filppula - Zetterberg - Hudler

Conner - Helm - Cleary

Holmstrom - Abdelkader - Miller

...anything other than that (barring injuries) then the Wings will probably struggle again. I like Commodore being in tonight. Even though I prefer him over Kindl anyway, but if Torres is gonna be running around, we are gonna need Commie out there.

Conner is in GR. He won't be playing.

Alright time put that horrid effort behind us, and I see Dats is back so I look forward to this one.

This far I've only seen this:

MLive (January 12, 2012)

Datsyuk sat out Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury. He was hoping to return tonight.

Also:

Forward Jan Mursak will join the Red Wings tonight, after wrapping up a two-week conditioning stint with the Grand Rapids Griffins.

I really like this stat:

NHL.com Preview

Abdelkader and Detroit's Darren Helm aren't just the young guys up front for the Red Wings who provide energy -- they are also helping the Wings get their sixth-ranked power play on the ice more. Helm is drawing 2.2 penalties per 60 minutes of ice time, which is fifth in the NHL among players with at least 30 games played, while Abdelkader's 2.1 per 60 is tied for sixth. Detroit is only team with two guys in the top 15.

Twitter: Ansar Khan, MLive

Zetterberg centering line with franzen and bertuzzi. filppula centering hudler and cleary.

Datsyuk looks tentative. not working in line combinations.

So something like this:

Mule - Z - Bert

Huds - Fil - Bear

Miller - Helm - Abs

Holmer - Emmerton - Mursak

Mursak is back!!!

Really been looking forward to seeing him be a regular in the lineup ever since he played some games for the Wings last season.

Shame Pavs won't be in, but just because the Wings shat the bed last game does not mean they can't win without him.

I won't be able to watch this game as I'll be in attendance as the Hawks lose to the Wild tonight.

Play hard tonight, LGW!
