Cammalleri traded

He is Metis (half french half native) and is from a French settlement in Alberta. He speaks French and will be a good addition to the Habs.

He doesn't speak french. He said so last night when he was interviewed about the trade.

Rosetta Stone can't work fast enough for the poor guy

No matter how good he is with the players, no matter how positive he can portray himself and the Habs as a franchise, I'm afraid the Cunneyworth will never be "one of them".

Right on the money there!

Cammalleri was obviously unhappy in Montreal, and he had the best season of his career during the one season he played in Calgary previously. He's a good player and I think he's going to be more productive outside of Montreal's obscure system, where Bourque is probably more like a short term 3rd liner that plays for 9 teams during his career. I say big win for Calgary and Cammalleri here.

Does Hudler speak French by any chance?

As far as I know, Flip is the best French-speaker on the team. And they can't have him. He's ours.

EDIT: This just in: In the GDT there's a blurb where Commie talks about speaking French. We know who can go.

After trading him mid-game, giving him the jersey for free was the least they could do.

No kidding. I wouldn't even have made him pay the shipping.

Heck, I'd have worn it out of the arena had I been him.

Seriously....I would have just taken it. I wouldn't think they would have gone looking for it.

It's like getting fired and they ask you for your uniform back (that is Domino's policy), but we rarely ever asked for anything back unless they were just huge tools to begin with, then we could say that and withhold it from their check. Then again, if they were huge tools, we couldn't get them out of the store quick enough just to be done with them.
