Based on the last NHL strike, you will excuse me if I don't share your optimism. The NBA didn't lose an entire season like the NHL did and there are a lot of things that could be potential snags in the negotiation this year. I am a glass half full kind of guy, and I think there is a good chance that they get things settled before the season starts. At the same time though, I am not holding my breath.Don't worry, the NHL isn't the NBA.

Awesome show.
Hope to see the NHL come to an agreement right away. Teams seem to be pretty profitable and in a lot better shape than in 04'. The NHL seems to be growing a little bit which probably will make it easier for another agreement.

What's funny is (and this may have been said before) was that I thought Lids was going to be on the cover of NHL 36 the game lol. This is MUCH better
