I say this every time this happens - I am amazed there aren't more freak accidents like this the way bodies fly around in the NHL these days.

I just don't want the league to make it mandatory to put a helmet on the second you step on the ice for warm-ups. That would be a little ridiculous, in my opinion.He wears one doesn't he? Problem is that he wasn't wearing his helmet during warmups.
