the slew foot was only a 2500 fine, yet fistric and smith got their ridiculous suspensions for clean hits, ridiculous.

Kovalchuk has always been a tough player, most people just don't give him enough credit. He's also been one of my favorite players since he entered the league. He's never shy to stand up for his teammates, as you can see.
