Chris Stewart?

Just a thought, with Chris Stewart appearing to be on the trading block, do you guys think he is a guy Kenny Holland should aggressively pursue? He is a very physical player that grinds to the net and works to create his offense. Although he is on pace for only a 16 goal season, a change in scenery might help him. He would fit in great as a top 9 forward on the Wings and would add a dimension of toughness and grit to a lineup that has been in need of a little "sandpaper". He has an affordable cap hit of $2.875 million and is a RFA after this year. This is a no risk type of move and we could likely land him for a draft pick and/or a mid level prospect. He could be a difference maker in determining how deep the Wings' playoff journey is. Just an idea. Thoughts?

I would love to see him here, but don't expect him to stay here for long if he needs a change of scenery this fast.

Gotta remember how young he is too, he has so much room to develop and become a Rick Nash style of player. I think his potential is tremendous and both Colorado and if this is the case St. Louis are giving up on him way too fast. I'd pull the trigger for sure.
