So I had no idea Val was good friends with the Finnish Flash till I heard about it today. Does anyone know any other players on other teams that the wings are friends with? Past and present wings. I've heard Tuzzi is friends with Jovocop recently too

Really good friends?
I mean, nationalities, perhaps especially those outside of Canada, tend to be pretty close knit, especially if they've played together in international tournaments.

Bobby Ryan went to high school in Michigan for a year. I had a couple of classes with him. Never believed him when he told me how good he was at hockey......
I even helped him spy on his GF (as petty as that sounds......)

Drew Miller is good friends with Jeff Petry of the Oilers...Kenny and Mick were talking about it the other night. They played together at MSU and I think in high school, too, if I remember correctly.

I know Pasha and Malkin are friends...in fact, one idolizes the other (I'll let you figure out which is which).
Datsyuk is friends with Ovechkin and Bryzgalov, too.

Horcoff is good buddies with Dano, Z, Homer and Drapes when he was around. He's always at the season opening skates before Edmontons training camp gets going. Seemed last night like Fil knows Lydman pretty well, just like Selanne.

My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
