Nightfall 871 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 And just like that, after Dats scores, the doubters that all but gave up on the 20 home win streak have their faith restored.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 Thought Bert had a step on the D and could have cut across the crease there.

dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 He's not going to win the Vienza if he misses extended time. Lundqvist is the frontrunner now. With the amount of games Jimmy's playing when he's healthy, missing two weeks isn't gonna hurt his chances. Sounds like he'll be back this week. Although Lundqvist is definitely the front-runner. MTU_Huskies963 398 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 I wonder how good Franzen would be if he tried? It's funny Datsyuk plays like he is bigger than he actually is, and franzen plays smaller.
Hockeymom1960 5,107 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 I think this is the first time I've actually seen more butts in the seats for a sold out game.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 It's funny Datsyuk plays like he is bigger than he actually is, and franzen plays smaller. Franzen was at the end of his shift and you could tell he pretty much quit even though he was in the offensive zone with the puck on his stick. Fires a good shot, but doesn't do anything but stand there until it's safe to turn and skate to the bench.
Nightfall 871 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 Pavel converts it. This is looking a lot like the Philly-NY game yeaterday with the PP's capitalizing. Keep the intensity, the Flyers played yesterday so we shoul have the better legs. In the new NHL, the stats for back to back games don't lie. Teams playing back to back games don't seem to have any better or worse chance to win the second game as they do the first. http://blackbluegold.wordpress.com/2010/08/22/vulgar-statistics-back-to-backs-nhl-scheduling-hell/ Just the fact that the Flyers played last night really wasn't going to matter tonight. These guys are so well conditioned, that it doesn't matter in the end.
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 Still about half a game to go. Break it open, keep the pressure and the intensity high. LET'S GO WINGS!

WingZNut13 99 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 Are they still moving the puck the way they were in the 1st? I had a meeting to go to do unfortunately I can't watch for an hour.

I've seen that but I think with the PP killing the Flyers yeaterday and the Wings getting 2 so far tonight it may get in their heads a bit. I still think id the Wings press them hard they'll have better legs, if only paychologically. A third PP goal will imho deflate philly.
