Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

Shootout. Without Pav it's scarier, but at least the Wings banked a point either way. I'd love to see Bertuzzi pop the winner. The icing call was really weak imho, but Bertuzzi should have known better than to give them a chance to get the call. Salo has been around long enough to have a feel for how to pace himself to slow down like he did to draw the call.
