KANATA, Ont. -- After coming off a 5-2 victory against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night, Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson suffered a hand laceration at home while preparing a meal, which required medical treatment at a local hospital.

Anderson is expected to make a full recovery, but is out indefinitely. The Senators have yet to make any call-ups from Binghamton.

Geez, talk about bad luck.

Geez, talk about bad luck.

Didn't some baseball pitcher injure himself from holding in a sneeze? Definitely one of those off the wall freak injuries. Toews was just in a car accident as well, he got lucky there were no injuries from that.

I don't think anything will beat when the guy on the kings (I think it was penner?) hurt himself eating pancakes earlier this season.

It was Penner I remember when that happened :D

EDIT: Added article containing the sneeze injury.
