Oh please NO!

Samuelsson > Hudler all day long. Bigger, faster, and also has a good shot. If this guys healthy (havent seen him since Van traded him) and its the best option out there - do it.

Oh I hate Hudler... Hate him! But I would gladly wear a happy Hudler Jersey and do a jig so Sammy stays far far away from our line up.

PS. I'm not too worried about wearing a Hudler jersey because it will disappear (just like him) as soon as the play offs start :D

I'm kind of tired when Holland is bringing former Red Wings back.

NO WAY!
Happy is 36 pts in 61 games and a plus 5
Sammy is only 18 pts in 32 games..and a 0 for plus/minus

Hudler is a better playmaker than sammy ever was. BEHOLD the shinguard assasin

Whats next, are you lobbying for Jason Williams's return too??? Gross

Im sure it should be obvious but what is a logo hunter?

Never a "snipe"...always a blatent "wind em up" shot aimed directly at the jersey logo!
Raising another Red Wings Fan!

Money on the board-SCP 2013
I'm going with the 22 special. 2 bucks for every 22 goal. 2 bucks for every 22 fight
5 bucks for every series win....another 5 for every shut out! LETS GO RED WINGS!!
ADDENDUM: Since it looks like Toots may not reinserted in the series, I would like to offer Bert his money on the board. So, 2 bucks for every Bert fight, 2 bucks for every Bert goal AND since OT has been a pattern, I want to add 5 bucks for any RED WINGS OT winner. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

Grabovski dude, that's all I'm saying.

Dustin Brown and/or Selanne please, otherwise no moves. TY.

The Ducks are within four points of a playoff spot. Selanne gets to choose if he's moved or not. As his team is in playoff range, I'm guessing that the answer will be no.

Grabovski dude, that's all I'm saying.

Brian Burke will not trade his first-line center unless he receives something equivalent in return.

I've been reading that he's considering taking a second round pick and a prospect on Grabovski, just because the Leafs aren't a realistic playoff threat, and Grabovski is asking a boat load to resign next year. If they don't get a deal done before monday, I expect Burke to move him, but I agree with you, it's hard saying what he'll get in return.

Leafs Nation would spontaneously combust were Grabo traded without substantial recompense.

So... they have scored points at relatively the same pace this season.

Hudler is playing for a good offensive team in Detroit (194 goals thus far) and Sammy has been playing the majority of the season in Florida, a mediorce offensive team at best (146 goals)

Hudler is a better playmaker, but playmaker was never really Sammy's game - he's more of a sniper.

Hudler is younger, but Sammy is bigger and probably still faster.

I'm not arguing either way as to who is better, but they are clearly comparable players, in my opinion and I disagree with your implication to the contrary.

I like him too - however as Crymson had pointed out - it's unlikely for him to get traded to Detroit...Me thinks he could be part of a package to land Nash, or someone else.

I could never say "no" to Sammy.

Especially during the playoffs, when he had a tendency to show up.

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Hamsters' names (current players in RED):  Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

                                                                      Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

                                                                      Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

                                                                      Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

And introducing:  Jordin Damien Gustav James

TOTAL SO FAR: $30

a player that shoots the puck at the logo on the goalie's jersey consistently.
