I know I've never liked Franzen, but now its bordering on hate. He seems non existent. And god do I hope we make some kinda move for some scoring.

really hope Holland at least tries to get some more scoring, or at least some sandpaper before the deadline... everyone still looks lost w/o Pavs and we can't afford to slide with the Blues right behind us

Its a long season. They were bound to have a letdown eventually. Better now than the playoffs.

Definitely. Sucks without Datsyuk we have some guys playing on lines they shouldn't ever be on (Cleary)

Don't they always struggle this time of year? It seems like they always put up just enough effort to not be embarrassed on the scoreboard.

True, it is slump-time of the year. And after such a long winning streak at home a letdown was bound to happen.. kinda like a deflated balloon, it takes some time to get the energy back after the streak ends.

Still would like to see more from Franzen, Zetterberg, Filppula, Hudler etc.

yes it does seem that way, I'm thinking more about the playoffs though, we have too many players that are the 'jack of all trades, master of none' types, would like to get a solid scorer(I know not too likely esp. in a seller's market) but at least a grinder like Moen who has experience in the playoffs who will provide grit and maybe teach Abdelkader a thing or two, also don't like the idea of Emmerton being our 4th line center come mid-April

Please don't include Franzen in that group. I don't think a single person would be sad to see Franzen traded away.

How do you win 23 games in a row at home and still not be running away with the points? If this team had played like this all season, they wouldn't be in the playoffs. Looks like reality is setting in and the road Wings have shown up. Guarantee there will be more excitement tomorrow on the Joe ice...

It's becoming quite glaring that without Pav this team needs some help up front. We are pretty pedestrian without him. It's like a really s***ty domino effect without him out there. Franzen and Bert are lost and Z clearly has not chemistry with them. Cleary has to play on the 2nd line where its obvious he should be on the 3rd with Helm and Miller so Abby can go down and center what would be a pretty good 4th line with Homer and whatever other guy out of Mursak, Emmerton or whoever wants to join them.

They need to do something to light a fire under him. Maybe put him up on the trading block. None of these guys have a sense that their job is in danger.

Ah well, they looked awful last year before the playoffs then completely turned it on in that game against the Blackhawks right before. We've learned this is a team that can flip a switch, they just don't do it often
