Did they run into each other or something during practice? One's limping and one has a groin issue.

No #13, No #5 ... the losing streak will continue. Let's hope we don't top the earlier one this season at 6.

I think smith will step up, he will ahve some defensive lapses but this is a key period for his development.

We might have a really bad losing streak following a big feel good streak. The injuries are piling up rapidly, and losing your best two players surely doesn't help.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

No worries for me besides a losing streak with no Dats in the lineup. Let's see how far this team can go this years playoffs. : /

Big E out for a month, Quincy goes down with a bad groin, Lidstrom is day to day and we give away a depth guy....... Good couple of days

I don't know if it is just me, but I would rather them call up Exelby instead of Janik if Quincey and Lidstrom can't go.
You may not like tough hockey, but it's winning hockey.

I'd like to see Exelby up. He's gotten no chances to showcase himself in the regular season. If he outplays Smith, keep him in there.I don't know if it is just me, but I would rather them call up Exelby instead of Janik if Quincey and Lidstrom can't go.
