Alright, finally some hockey instead of drama!

This is the kind of game we need. Howson looked like a jerk in his press conference and I am sure CBJ team morale is low so I hope the wings come out flying and have a solid THREE period performance tonight.

Love to see FRANZEN have a "great" game and get a scoring streak going before the playoffs!

Lets go WINGS!!!

After the boring trade deadline day Iam excited to watch Smith and the Wings win this one.

On the other hand it will be painfull to see Nash and his tallants being waisted in a team like blue jackets.

Hope to see him in Wings uniform next season.

Oh well.

4-2 Wings.

So what does our D look like now....

Kronwall - White

Smith - Stuart

Kindl - Quincey

????

Janik is coming up and I am pretty sure Quincey is out as well.

Lidstrom is out tonight. Janik is playing, Ken Holland told M-Live.

Quincey out tonight too! Janik taking Lidstroms spot I guess! Would like to see smith get those minutes to see what he can do!

Here is the lineup via Winging it in Motown:

Danny Cleary -- Justin Abdelkader -- Todd Bertuzzi

Johan Franzen -- Darren Helm -- Drew Miller

Jan Mursak -- Cory Emmerton -- Tomas Holmstrom

*Doug Janik -- Ian White

Niklas Kronwall -- Brad Stuart

Jakub Kindl -- Brendan Smith

Jimmy Howard (starting)

Joey MacDonald

Guest stinky fish taco

so,

no datsyuk

no lidstrom

macdonald starting

throw in the wings' play against terrible teams this year, and i'd say it's a 4-1 columbus victory tonight.

i do like the fraznen demotion. if only babcock had the balls to stick with it or actually bench him. the reality is that he'll be off the 3rd line in no time.

4 regulars out of the lineup and Joey Mac in net ... this will be huge morale booster if the boys can win this one on the road with this skeleton crew. Even short a few studs we SHOULD be able to get 2 points from CBJ and Minn. In the 5 games this year that Lids or PAv have been out weve gotten 1 point thusfar - time to take accountability and raise the compete level. Id like to see Bert throw up a few points tonight.
