Those are the same lines Babs switched to in the third period last game, and everyone played a lot better afterwards.

Injuries or not, this is a winnable game.

Thanks for noticing that AND pointing it out here.

I'm also happy Babcock moved Franzen. He's gonna have to show some speed with those guys or he's gonna be eating ice chips. And I predict that the Cleary/Abdelkader/Bertuzzi line is gonna be nice and nasty. Go, Wings!!!

You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Wonder how the Jackets fans will receive Nash knowing that he demanded a trade outta there.

They would be dumb to show any negativity towards him after how long he has been there and been dedicated. I think they will cheer him just like any game but with that being said they might be drowned out by Wings fans.

I'm expecting some rough stuff tonight. Cleary-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi will be in there, Smith and Janik in the line-up. Should be a good game, hopefully Joey plays good we need these points

Wasn't it a few years ago we didn't have Lidstrom nor Datsyuk due to suspension and we got a point out of the game against Columbus?

I don't know how much I could like a guy who approached the team owner and supposedly demanded the GM and coach be fired, and then demand a trade when that request was refused.

On a side note, why is St. Louis ranked over us with both teams at same number of pts?

This should be an interesting match up, missing Datsyuk, Lidstrom and Quincey but got in Smith. I've been waiting since the start of the season to see what Smith has to offer to the big club. He showed some great talent in his last call up. I wonder if Nash's play will be affected seeing that he didn't get traded the way he wanted. Anyways, here's to a good game!

Red Wings 4 (Zetterberg, Hudler, Miller, Smith)
Blue Jackets 2

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!

Smith and Kronner should be a sick pairing!
I don't know if this has been talked about yet but any update on lidstrom or Quincey?

Total number of Regulation plus Overtime Wins (used in 2nd tiebreaker at right)

It's the first tie breaker

Three reasons we could lose -
1 - Significant players out
2 - Road Game
3 - Low ranking team.

Go Wings!
