Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 Good news. Stevie made the right moves last time around, albeit some that people didn't agree with (Getzlaf at less then 100%, Bergeron as the extra forward) he got the job done and his moves paid off. Keep it up Stevie
arag 308 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 Interesting to see if Babcock will be the head coch again.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 No surprise there. Best of luck to Stevie and presumably head coach Babcock, as long as it isn't against the US.
GMRwings1983 8,789 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 Crosby won't be there to save the nation. Hopefully, Russia and the US will be playing for the Gold this time.
evilmrt 636 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 Stevie Y and maybe Babs heading up Team Canada again? I am going to be painfully divided in my allegiances...AGAIN...

Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 6, 2012 Crosby won't be there to save the nation. Hopefully, Russia and the US will be playing for the Gold this time. Crosby did very little in the last Olympics as well, at least until the finals. Even then, him being in position to score the winner was the result of a fortuitous bounce off a linesman. rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 Bring the Gold, to the Red White and Blue. I love to cheer for Yzerman, Holland, and Co, but not when it's for Team Canada.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 6, 2012 The NHL and NHLPA are still uncommitted to the Sochi Olympics. Officially, anyway. It's a bargaining chip for the CBA. "We'll let you go if you drop your demand for ________________." Several of the Russian players are pretty much going whether anyone likes it or not.
