Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

Worst case scenario is happening. Wings cool off at home, still suck on the road. PP and PK don't get any better. Everyone gets hurt. Blues get even hotter
things seem bleak right now alright, but at least we're not sucking it up this bad at full strength

And once again, we have a tougher lineup out there tonight than Philly.
Do Holland and Babcock neuter these guys before the game? We can handle thisf****** team physically. They're not the '82 Flyers.
It seems like it. Especially Janik, like he can fight, and he needs to show the brass he has something. Smith fought last game so Babs probably told him to stop. And Abby, I'm sure he could put up a fight vs Rinaldo or Hartnell. It's what alot of fans don't understand that you and I do, it's not about winning the fight, it's about showing your not afraid. The Wings are showing there afraid.

Good thing they'll have them in the playoffs... I don't get the point of your argument
i guess the point of my question was, even though our best players are currently hurt, this TEAM doesn't seem like one that is tough enough to go deep in the playoffs.
you know, the long haul. when s*** happens and you have to dig down deep and find a way to win.

We do.
and I don't think Shelley is even dressed tonight.
Shelley is a healthy scratch.

I totally agree. Dumbass had his head down, more than likely knowing Kronwall was there. So if a guy has his head down you can't hit him? The only reason his head got hit was because he was staring down at the ice.
I don't like it or agree with it, but those are the new rules.
I wish part of the new rules was the ability to decline a PP. 9 shorthanded goals given up this season? Second in the league. Pitiful.

full metal jousting is freakin stupid. It isn't the violence of the hit that people love, it is the fact that a human being can impose their will on another with sheer force that wows people. And since you have never played the game you don't have a clue about what was going on in this play.Go watch full metal jousting, you'll love it.
Wish you could decline penalties in the NHL like they can in the NFL.

The only goal the Flyers scored after the Kronwall hit was shorthanded. So unless you think we should put tough guys out on the ice during a powerplay, I'd say toughness isn't the reason why we got scored on.
On a side note, our powerplay can't get any worse so maybe we should just goon it up on the PP.
There's nothing we can do now. This is our team for the season. My point was, if we can't capatilize on the PP's that come off teams running us and gooning it up, then we need a guy that can answer. We don't have one, and our PP sucks. Just not alot of good stuff happening the last couple games

Is that your best comeback? Time to get that GED buddy. And for the hell of it, WTF does full metal jousting have to do with ice sports. It's irrelevant, just like your comments. Go piss up someone else' tree.Go watch full metal jousting, you'll love it.
Wish you could decline penalties in the NHL like they can in the NFL.

The hittee (?) was also bent over. Kronwall was straight up. It's gonna be interesting to see what Shanny does with it.
"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $105.

We need to do something about the PP at the trade deadline.
Oh, wait...
Don't worry, we'll draft a Hall of Fame sniper with our 7th round pick.
