The Washington Redskins acquired the No. 2 overall pick in April's NFL draft on Friday from the St. Louis Rams by sending first rounders in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and a second-round pick this year to the Rams, league sources told Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer on Friday.

Being a Rams fan, this is HUGE. Hoping they can still get Blackmon with the sixth pick. Finally give their offense a much needed explosive receiver.

Skins over payed hardcord. RG3 doesn't even have any proven NFL experience. Rams totally got the upperhand here.

Agreed, way too much for a guy who hasn't even taken an NFL snap yet

It just shows the kind of franchise the Redskins have been. Snyder is a horrible owner, but if RG3 does become great then I guess it was worth it.

So essentially, the exchange cost them their '13 and '14 first round pick plus a second rounder. It looks worse when you see those three first-rounders in a row, but they get one back in return.

Still, STL clearly won here. Far too much for RG3.
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).
