3/14 GDT : Red Wings 0 at Ducks 4

This can be moved/merged/deleted/whatever since Mike posted the real GDT as I posted this one. Thanks mods.

I was just thinking about this, but dare not disturb the normal flow of GDTs.

I usually put up a GDT around this time if Mike has not done so.

I told you not to disturb the normal flow of GDTs! LGW

Hey, not the first GDT I've posted! Mike must have been waiting for me to click 'start new topic' before he hit submit. Yeah, that's what happened.

EDIT: See, now I'm freaking out because they just merged the threads. I swear I didn't post this many times in one thread. LOL.

It's ok, Mike likes to see a lot of posts in the thread anyway so we're off to a good start.

Thanks Mike! I figure you waited because this is just like starting it in the morning of a normal game...since we have to wait half the night for the game to start

The boys better be working their butts off today on the ice and not playing in the sun. I want 1000% better effort than last night if I have to lose more sleep.

GO WINGS!!!

Really hope they play better than they did last night. They did not look like an NHL caliber team and it was a little frightening.

But I'll be optimistic! Play hard, score early, full 60, etc.

Nyquist with the game winner.

LGW

Also per Helene St. James...

Not a good update on Nicklas Lidstrom - he said he "felt worse" today, skated only a little bit, will shut it down for a couple of days.

Lovely...

I doubt he'll come back next year if he's still having trouble. Such a damn shame, almost looked like he could go out with a Cup but instead he may end it trying to get back to help the team :(
