I agree.

We should goon it up like the Ducks always did against us.

Pfft, Bert, Abby, Janik, Smith and that's it. Only one of them would probably fight too, and the sad thing is it'd be Janik.

Anyone still think MacDonald is an NHL goalie? If you go one-on-one against him there is a 90% chance you will score. That is an AHL goalie right there.

Perhaps. Your alternative for a backup is Ty Conklin right now though.

Did he suck last year when he scored 26 goals? http://www.mlive.com...y_trying_1.html No excuse, he's just being stupid. No reason to play through injury now.

Hey another goal, nice guys. Glad to see Babs is a great coach, clearly Quincey-White hasn't been working, but keep throwing them out there

lol thanks for proving my point, guess Hudler is a world beater too. I didn't realize stats tell the wholef****** story, or does that only work in certain arguments?

Hahahahahaha. How was me saying he's tough and can fight mean I'm a fan? I do like Bert, and think your arguments are super ridiculous, but how did you draw that from my post?

If people are scoring against JMac one on one then the problem is with out DEFENSE. Not with our goalie. It should never be one on one with our goalie EVER.

Is Cory Emmeron the most useless player to be a regular in recent Red Wings history?

Ken Holland: Hes (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, hes a puck hound.

Good to see the Wings getting their abysmal play out of the way before the playoffs.

Me no like.... I went back to my "obsessed Wings fan"-self this season, very unhealthy

Joey Mac isn't the issue. He was fantastic when Howard went down.

"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

The thing that rots me the most is we have no momentum changing players, the only guy we had we dealt to Tampa for a 7th round pick.

A Mike Commodore wrestling match wouldn't change anything. *IF* the Wings wanted to use fighting to change momentum, we could hopefully do better than a fringe NHL defenseman who rarely fights, and at that doesn't do it too well.

Sadly (IMO anyways), the Wings don't value fighting. I'd support a rough, aggressive team. But that's not the Wings. So let's not kid ourselves, the difference of one or two extra fights on their own is worthless.

not that I'm trying to say Emmerton is even an NHL player but: Murzak, Emmerton, Smith are all rookies, they at least deserve some slack. so it maybe a bit premature to say that. Especially considering our past.

Langfeld is pretty close.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.
