All these years people have been saying that the Wings will fall when Yzerman retires, when Fedorov leaves, etc. When Lids retires they may just be right.

Even when Lidstrom isnt playing superhuman, he's still a better Dman than 90% of the league.

Why the hell not? They have been looking better and mostly more organized in this game than they have for way too long. They can and just might win this.

good on the refs for not calling the interference on Kronwall since the Sharks player was initiating contact and doing a lot flailing as he tried to get by.

it would be nice if the Wings had a 4th line that would chip the puck in and make the other teams D go get it and get hammered along the boards.
