BTW, this is all Dan Cleary's fault.
He and Holmstrom must have teamed up. And I bet Huddler and Franzen masterminded it.... despite them both being too lazy to do anything.

Don't forget Babcock and Holland. They are not as smart as everyone here to see the faults of the team and fix them.

There's no point in tanking to get a better pick mostly bc... well we dont have one!
Maybe they're tanking to help Yzerman succeed in Tampa.

but on the bright side, Nashville is losing at home to the Oilers
Unfortunately, Chicago put a pounding on CBJ and are now just 2 points behind us

That better not be our freaking lineup.
How about Babcock does some coaching and actually mixes the lines to get some magic going. That 4th line shouldn't play another shift together for the rest of eternity.

I agree. What the hell is that fourth line?!That better not be our freaking lineup.

And as much as it pains me to say this, Holmstrom's not too useful anymore. He plays on the fourth line and as a powerplay specialist. But he doesn't provie much energy, and our powerplay is TERRIBLE. It (sadly) should probably be his last season. He was a great player for us, but it's time to move on.
Having said that, the fourth line really isn't our biggest problem. It's pretty far down the list actually.

Well what could he possibly mix it to? Aside from swapping a player on the first and second line I don't think there's much he can do. Also I think he should just roll with three lines. I think exhausted first 3 would still be better than the fourth.

I know that in reality the Wings will make it, but it's certainly a chilling thought.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Conklin was not playing here so when they threw him in it wasn't pretty. He's had some consistent play lately and I think that will help tremendously.I don't care how well Conks is playing in the minors, he in front of our healthy roster this year, sucked. Tomorrow isn't going to be pretty, this is hell. 3 years in a row of half the team going down with injuries at certain points of the season. This season had the most promise of the last 3, but we may now finish in 6th in the west. f*** the "hockey gods", they kick us in the nads every year with these injuries
I wouldn't be too sad about HudlerAnd the hits just keep on coming.
I predict Babs will be out next week with a massive headache and Hudler will go down with a toe injury.

Thanks Offsides

It's not quite as bad as that sounds though. The Wings are up 2 with a game in hand and also currently have a bettter ROW as well in case of a tie. (Additionally, I don't know that I wouldn't rather drop to sixth and play Dallas rather than Nashville).

And now, since I've said it, it HAS to happen. Please let it happen! Still, I feel quietly confident that tonight sees it start to get better.
