Absolutely not. I think that coaches should not even have to be interviewed before, during or after games. To top that, Pierre asks the DUMBEST questions ever and after losing their 6th straight game, do you really think Babs wanted to sit there and answer dumb questions by Pierre? I do not blame Babs at all and neither should you.
I totally agree but I still think he needs to suck it up and act professional about it, I mean other coaches deal w it.. I still luv babs.
Getting interviewed in the middle of the game is retarded and NBC should have never started doing it..

I could be wrong here, and please correct me if so, but I seem to recall coaches being interviewed throughout the game years ago (as in when ESPN/ABC/FOX were airing games)...I believe the NHL was one of the 1st to start doing this to promote the game, and to show how "down to earth" everyone is from the coaching staff down to the players.I totally agree but I still think he needs to suck it up and act professional about it, I mean other coaches deal w it.. I still luv babs.

This is no different here. Babs has a right to be pissed off, between the losing streak and seemingly ever day he has to deal with a new injury to his team... its going to affect your mood. To top that, I like that he is showing emotion. I like that he is ticked off with the way his team is playing, and it showed from Pierre's dumb interview. IMO, as long as coaches don't go off on the interviewer, they should be able to answer questions however they want during or after a game.

If McGuire ever came to interview me I'd like to keep a little distance.

I want Mule to skate past Pee-air and punch him out. That would be awesome. As for Babs, say whatever you like, buddy. You're the man.

It wasnt anything that bad, just kind of the tone in his voice. Babcock doesnt sugar coat anything, which is good. I like him as the head coach.
Oh ok. For a second it sounded like he was being a huge **** or something. I agree with you though, I like him as well.

I love Babs and I hope he keeps giving Pierre s*** for his insanely idiotic questions. I don't care how much the guy knows about hockey, Pierre is socially inept and those coach interviews are just awkward and uncomfortable so I'm glad Babs speaks his mind.

Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.
Tootoo needs a partner in crime that plays like him on the other side of Helm. Oh hey, we have Mitchell Callahan. Problem solved.

Money on the board-SCP 2013
I'm going with the 22 special. 2 bucks for every 22 goal. 2 bucks for every 22 fight
5 bucks for every series win....another 5 for every shut out! LETS GO RED WINGS!!
ADDENDUM: Since it looks like Toots may not reinserted in the series, I would like to offer Bert his money on the board. So, 2 bucks for every Bert fight, 2 bucks for every Bert goal AND since OT has been a pattern, I want to add 5 bucks for any RED WINGS OT winner. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!
