All the homer's (in this case Cleary lovers) clearly can't objectively evaluate this team.

Who is a Cleary lover here? Who has stated they love Cleary?

Pretty much everybody gets that it stinks that he is struggling probably primarily because of being injured, but only a select few thinks he has stunk from minute one on the extreme end.

The only people that say stuff like *insert player's name* lovers are the ones that have an extreme disliking of the guy with negative bias alone. That's not really all that objective either.

Someone on LGW loves Cleary???? How could this be?? Who is it??? Didn't they hear NBC explain how Cleary shoulda been cut years ago? I'm amazed the guy is still in the NHL actually after reading this thread. He's seriously terrible. I think its a bit odd that the hockey team with the best eye for talent in the whole league would ever even consider him...quite strange. I mean its not like he is a grade A team guy or a great locker room presence, he's more like locker room cancer!!!...I believe somebody said something about his lack of intensity as well...dont get me started on that one, he is sooooo lazy, never back checks, never forechecks, never five checks, never side to side checks....pretty much the last phrase i would ever use to describe dan cleary is "one of the hardest workers on this team" yup i would definitely never describe Cleary in that way. He's also been struggling with injuries this year LOL what a nancy-boy cleary is. HATE HIM.

did i also mention i hate Floatzen, Ericsson, Hudler, Bertuzzi, Holmstrom, Kindl, Emmerton, Conklin, Abby, ANDDDDD Miller. How are these guys still on this team??? and how do we keep doing so well with all these joke hockey players on our team????

I used to HATE val fillpula too because, u kno, hes just another soft euro who doesnt shoot the puck enough....but hes having an up year this year so now i suddenly love him.

pretty much the only acceptable players we have are lids, dats, z, and howie.....everyone else should be traded for draft picks...cleary doesnt have much trade value so we should just cut him and fill his roster spot with Daigle....been hearing he wants to make a comeback to hockey. ahhhh Daigle, now thats a premium hockey player.....everything that cleary is not.

Seems like more "fans" dislike the team than stand behind them, I was tricked in the sarcasm only because the norm is to complain about everything that makes the team great.

hahaha LOL that was pretty blatant sarcasm dude....but yeah joking side I know its hard to tell sometimes what with all the complainers around here lol who think half our team is worthless. its straight ridiculous.

Got my fingers crossed, that's for sure. He's completely worthless these days. At least before he was a pretty speedy winger. Now he literally brings nothing to the table. He loses puck battles 99% of the time, isn't physical, rarely scores, yet he plays on our 2nd line while Jordan Tootoo is a healthy scratch??? Completely mind blowing logic right there. I pray we move on from him

I just think that Clears is only really effective of the 4th line anymore, and the fact of the matter is it look's like our kids can play...

 

      .....Still I think a title that reads "may be sent packing" is a little classless for what Cleary gave us.

Tatar is better than Cleary.  Should be playing on the Wings right now, but Tatar's 7 points in 7 games in the AHL playoffs isn't good enough to have him run with our makeshift 4th lines.  Guess GR needs him for round 2.

 Umm, article, it's also unlikely Miller and White are re-signed.  It's time to clean house good this time and keep guys like Andersson, Nyquist and Tatar up, along with Lashoff and maybe even Callahan for the 4th line.  No more of these gap contracts when we have the talent we got coming up through the pipes.  And there's no garuntee that Flip's a Wing for opening night next season.  Tuzzi and Sammy are gone after next season.  We have so many talented kids coming up, it would be stupid to re-sign any of the above mentioned guys.  We all know our prospects list, it's time to live by it.

You are 100% right. But Babcock cant make Holland look stupid by scratching them. Instead, he benches Bertuzzi and Samuelsson the whole game. Its a joke. We play with an 18 man lineup cuz our GM has a hard on for old washed up has beens.

Why does everyone here forget that WE CAN'T GRAB ANYONE FROM THE GRIFFINS UNTIL THEY ARE OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS. It's that easy. It seriously is.
