I hope the NHL can sort out this radulov mess, so it does not happen again. Too many loopholes in this league.

not top speed currently? Franzen is NEVER at top speed this year. He may be leading our team with goals, but he floats around every single shift and frickin flicks the puck in the air and then gets off. Datsyuk is at his best when he has someone to open ice for him (bert is doing very well at that this year) and speed... something NYQUST can provide. Nyquist is a way better passer than franzen and even though his shot is not as good, he still has an ability to shoot the puck. As I have said before I think Nyquist should play with Pavs and Bert, then Franzen can take Hudler's spot on the 2nd line and then Hudler can take Cleary's spot on the 3rd line...

Or at least until Franzen can handle the game speed again. It's too fast for him now.

Loo says she and Kristi and Dawn have been hollering advice all game. The guys aren't listening. I told Kristi to flash her ****. That should get them going.

Money on the board:  $40

Thanks for a great season, guys.  You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.

And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.

You're right about franzen never being top speed this year, and right now I think everyone would rather see Nyquist on the top line instead of mule. But in the playoffs, mule being a beast on the first line is way more valuable than what Nyquist may do. So I'm assuming they're just getting mule attuned again on the top line in time for the post season - small sacrifice now as I see it, but a huge payoff if he gets going in the playoffs on Pavs' line.

I also wouldn't want to disrupt the Zetterberg line, so if mule is getting moved off the top line I think he should go to line 3.

I honestly don't think Stewie has thrown a big hit since he took out Pieteragelo, needs to get his s*** together and start being hard to play against again.

Thanks. Luckily, my area (near downtown) didn't seem to get hit very hard.

LGW!

Pretty even in the first. Hopefully we'll have a good second.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

Man, has Ericsson fought this year? I think it's cute that he's swearing at Gaustad and Tootoo in swedish, but a couple of bombs to either of there ugly faces would be appreciated

Good thing we didn't get Gaustad. Sure didn't want a tough guy who can get under the skin of the other team. Much rather have Emmerton.

Yeah it's BS comes back to play for the playoffs, then goes back to sign in the KHL next year. I would have no problem if this was before the trade deadline, but this late is cheap.

Pretty weak call, but how about a PP goal?
