Wings better come out with a hell of a lot more intensity in the third or they can kiss this game good bye.

I don't understand all of the fancy s***, they're not even doing anything the conventional way.

That said, second was better than the first... Something has to bounce the Wings way at some point.

I have not seen anything from this team recently that tells me they're ready for the playoffs, much less capable of winning the Cup. This is absurd. I feel sorry for people who have paid money to watch this. They need to pull their heads out of their asses.

My gf is from the UP and a whole bus of people from her family and friends came down to watch the Nashville game the other day. Probably the only live Wings game alot of them will see.

Not only was the weather terrible windy cold rain downtown, the Wings played like dog dick.

Only thing I could say was don't judge the city or team based on that effort, sorry guys, have a fun bus ride home lol

Wings season since the injuries has felt like a complete nightmare. We're just waiting to see when we can wake up from it.

If there is anything positive I guess you could say the PK is getting better. I guess that's something.

Man this is depressing though.

So why was White scratched?

Just resting him for the postseason. Lids, Ericsson, Quincey and Kindl all missed games recently and could use the minutes more.

Franzen seems basically worthless at this point. I know he's been out for a little bit and needs a few games to get back into shape but his lack of effort and terrible decision-making in the offensive zone are getting old...

At least with the injuries there was an excuse. Pretty baffled by their play.

I hate franzen with a passion. Babcock needs to seriously answer for his dumb decision making if he continues to play Franzen on that top line with Pavs. Bertuzzi is having a GREAT game and is showing that he MUCH MORE DESERVES to playing with Pavs than Franzen!

looks like most of the roster is staying outta trouble and not getting in a position to get injured, well i hope that is the reason for this performance so far. lets not get shut out on home ice by the Panthers thou guys eh
"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop
"Putting on the foil coach" Jeff Hanson
"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
"Make sure they don't leave the bench!" Reggie Dunlop.

I know I'm really beating a dead mule here, but f*** Franzen. I wish Homer would get moved up, he can barely play anymore but he hustles and battles more then anyone on the team. Bertuzzi was doing fine on that line, and creates space better. Just anyone but Franzen Babs, please.

Having Helm would make the difference, I believe. At the very least it would make the third line better.

Micky pointed that out saying most don't realize how important Helm is to this team

No, but he's playing like he cares. That's better than much of the team.

That would imply we've taken a decent shot on net all game. The answer would be no. We haven't scored.

At the rate this team is playing, we'll be out in round 1 probably 4-1 or 4-2. Very disappointing. Where's the heart?
