Too much to ask to beat the Blues and the Devils in back to back games, I guess. Nothing we can do about our playoff seeding now.

Tough loss really needed those 2 points. Let's go Stars now in regulation time too!!

I think the 2nd intermission was the worst thing to happy, Wings were playing so well in the 2nd. Damn 3rd period :hehe:

They flat out ran out of gas down the stretch there. Would have loved the win but figured they may have let down after last night.

Good game by a tired Wings team. I hope Pavs is okay with his wrists. I thought the Wings just looked flat out dead tired all 3rd period and it ended up burning us. There should be no back to backs this late in the year, but whatever. Also, take back my reffing commment from earlier... the refs missed WAY TOO MANY should ahve been calls against the Devils. No wonder the Devils are so good defensively... they get away with more hooking and holding than anyone else it was really annoying!

Could not care less if we win or lose vs Chicago now. Not good after last nights *shootout* win of all wins. Anyone think we can actually win a round in the playoffs this year?

LOL the offseason? Pretty sure playoffs haven't started yet. Whole new beast. Never know what happens. I recall several times where the Wings play bad down the last stretch of the regular season and ended up going really far in the playoffs. It's hockey. Anything is possible.

The refs were fine, the Wings sucked in the 3rd.

No legs in the third at all. Tough to get real upset at that, but such a missed opportunity to cement finishing 4th.

Saturday's game is absolutely huge now.
