Just gonna have to wait a bit longer for the demise of the Snow Chickens.
How sweet itll be when they blow the full wad in Pitt in front of their adoring fans. Flyers lost on purpose just to get the hopes up of the Pitt faithful

Bush move on the timeout called
Yeah I couldn't believe that. Pens are up, what, 10-3, commit an icing and then they call a timeout. Wow.

I see the pens finally decided that they did not wanna be swept in the first round
See Red Wings, Detroit 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 2. Normally things like this happen, a sweepis very hard to pull off. It's no wonder why the closing game is the hardest to get.

Sorry, but what the hell are you talking about? Philly was 3 for 6 on the PP. Pretty sure powerplay chances were 7-6, just slighty different than 9-2.PP's 9 to 2 in a series where Philly is up 3-0, I shouldn't be surprised but man, why does the NHL think the fans want longer series? I want the Pens out damnit!
Regardless, PIT beat PHI 6-0 at even strength so not sure why anyone would be fussing about reffing in this one.

This could be wrong, sometimes it is and I don't bother to check NHL.com so I apologize if I was wrong. What I said was more sarcastic then anything, truthfully I don't really care just really hate Pittsburgh
And I just checked and they were actually 9 PP's for Pittsburgh and 5 for Philly, so my mistake.

I find it hard to believe people would prefer this series over tight hockey games.

Not sure. He was pissed as f*** because he wasn't sure why either. He got crosschecked twice in the face? by Kubina I think it was. I didn't see any retaliation from him. But still, they kicked him out.

Still have no idea why they kicked him out. Get's crossed checked in the face twice and then get's kicked out. I'm guessing it was so he didn't do something "stupid" the rest of the gameNot sure. Well I can't imagine why. Half the series had a blood bath occur in them already. That's must-see TV! And the NHL responds by everytime a Pen or Flyer so much as farts by the opposing team, they get ejected.
Mmmm, how boring for fandom.
I guess the league wants to remain 2nd tier.
This was so funny I had to set it as my sig.

Pretty sure the refs basically shortened both the Penguin and Flyer benches by two just as a preventive measure to discourage the throng of fights that plagued the last game. He was officially given 2 minutes for holding the stick and a 10 minute game misconduct, but as far as I could tell he was just getting crosschecked on that sequence. What did he get ejected for? I had stopped watching at that point.
