You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $101.

Can anyone tell me why Stallberg wasnt crumpled after hitting Howard after the whistle?
Because Kenny Holland does not believe in that kind of hockey. Be grateful that this team even hits at all. I'm surprised Kronwall hasn't been traded yet. How can Kenny stand it?

I hope this team enjoys flying to San Jose again and getting their asses kicked.
I like this in the sense it may actually FORCE Holland to make some changes in the off season if they were to get bounced 3 years in a row by the same opponent

To be honest, i'd like to see these lines for the 3rd, if only for effort
Bertuzzi-Datsyuk-Nyquist
Filppula-Zetterberg-Sheahan
Miller-Abdelkader-Holmstrom
Hudler-Emmerton-Franzen
Enough guys aren't skating hard, and giving there all. The guys who are? They don't get enough ice time, with 1 period to win this game and have a chance at home ice, we need the guys who are gonna give the effort.
I'd like to NOT see Emmerton.

I do believe so. He's got a SHUTfreakinOUT going.
Did you say you think Crawford will get a SHUTOUT???
How long has it been since the Wings were down 2-0 after 2 periods and came back to win? Gee... I sure wish I had a long-term memory.

My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.
Hamsters' names (current players in RED): Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik
Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert
Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan
Andrew Patrick Ian Todd
And introducing: Jordin Damien Gustav James
TOTAL SO FAR: $24

Bert's playing hungry, look for the mule to play like he did two games ago.
If this thing doesn't turn out, I'm sure the coyotes would love to play a series of road games against the Wings in the playoffs for the 3rd straight year.

I'd like to NOT see Emmerton.
emmerton isn't anything special, but he's played a lot better than people on this team who make a helluva lot more money than him.

Should have done it earlier, especially the deadline. Lidstrom might not even be back next season.
If we have a first round exit, I hope Ilitch will be merciless and put his foot down.

Nashville is better then any Pacific team... fact
We match up better with Nashville than San Jose.
In any case, if we want to make a long playoff run, we have to beat better teams than Nashville. Vancouver being the first that comes to mind.

What about getting bounced 3 years in a row, the 3rd year being in the first round, with the same first round opponent they've beat twice previously (Phoenix). At this point, I wouldn't dismiss any team.I like this in the sense it may actually FORCE Holland to make some changes in the off season if they were to get bounced 3 years in a row by the same opponent

It was beyond time to switch up the lines. The dry spell on offense is getting extreme.
