Tied 1-1.

Ovechkin REALLY needs to score a goal here considering his past two seasons.

How the f*** does Marchand not get a penalty? The f***** starts s*** after every f***in' whistle. Booools***.

esteef

Imagine how scared he would act if he played for say the Wings.

He just acts tough knowing he has so much backup on that roster.

lol Detroit, Vancouver, Pittsburgh, Chicago, San Jose & Boston all out... Suck it bettman

What's good about that?

I'd rather see those teams still in the playoffs being a hockey fan. Would make it more interesting.

Washington is still a good team for the league, but the Western Conference playoffs will be unwatchable in my book.

You have to give the Bruin fans some credit, they gave a thanks to there team even though they just lost game 7 at home. Our fans probably would have boed our team. I was rooting for the Bruins to win the cup again, have to like original 6 team, plus Thomas is from Flint.

Heres the Parity that Bettman wants... I will laugh if NY and NJ both get knocked out tomorrow.... that will be an awesome look...STL, LA, PHO, NSH, OTT, FLO, WASH, PHI.... Some powerhouses there...lol

Has anyone else noticed this?

What was the first team eliminated in these playoffs? The Red Wings, the 2008 Cup champs.

Next? Pittsburg, the 2009 champs.

Then? Chicago, the 2010 champs.

Tonight? The defending Cup champions, Boston.

Anyone think that's funny?

I have not thought of anything so funny since the 2009 finals, when the Wings won games one and two, each 3 to 1. And Pittsburg won the next two, scores in each 4 to 2. Then, the Wings blow them out, 5 to zip. And won game 6, 2 to 1. And lost the last. By a score of 2 to 1.

Thoughts?

I agree... if it was up to me I would have Vancouver, San Jose, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, New Jersey & Pitt win... it would provide the best ratings and best hockey.

But after seeing what Bettman has done to the league, and the wings are out lol, I just laugh at what the product is on the ice (in addition to Buttman being a tool) and hope he makes some major changes.

This might be the most insignificant winner since TB & Carolina won it.

Here is a scary thought... so far based on the 1st round the only team that remains with a Cup victory since 2000 is the Devils, and that is if they win tomorrow. We could be going into round 2 with every team not having a Cup since at least 2000.

Guest Crymson

Headline: Third-string rookie outplays Tim Thomas.

Secondary headline: Tyler Seguin should be ashamed of himself for his awful series.
