Regardless of what happens in the series, Hitchcock wins the Jack Adams, no question.

"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

Sharks look like s***. Blues are hitting a lot and controlling the puck well.

Sharks draw first blood on a nice deflection.

Just this one time I'm rooting for the Sharks (though I picked the Blues to win)

Honestly I like the kind of game the Blues play. And I couldn't bring myself to root for the whining diving sharks.

Though a first round upset would probably dramatically cut down on the little lectures we've been getting from a couple Blues fans lately. :P

I'm not cheering for either team, but I'd prefer to see St Louis lose.

Vlasic just got absolutely outmuscled on that Blues goal. Nice deflection.

Jumbo and Backes almost dropped them, that would've been interesting.

I don't know that Backes would go with someone who can actually fight.

He won't, just doesn't, he has some fetish for fighting Canadian Olympians and big ******* like Jumbo :hehe:

Big pile up there, I'm loving the animosity so far in the game.

I forgot for a minute that Jackhole is on the Blues. Maybe the Sharks winning wouldn't be so bad...

Halak with the dive.

Watching the Sharks play tonight is reigniting memories of last year as well as my pure disgust and 100% loathing of everything about this entire organization.

Is this game blacked out for anyone else? I just turned CNBC on and it says that "CNBC is not permitted to televise the scheduled NHL game is your local area." WTF?

I guess if I'm just considering the quality of playoff hockey I want to see, I gotta root against the Sharks. Diving would go down dramatically if they and the Canucks went out in the first round.

The only good outcome to this game will be one of the teams will lose. I hope it goes to triple-OT.

From now on, Patrick Roy will be rolled out to and from the Avs' bench like Hannibal Lecter. - BottleOfSmoke
