Im at work so I cant take pictures but I put the old school Red Wings 'D' and Tigers' 'D' decals on my Escape. So if you see a black Escape with a couple of D's on the back side windows roaming around the Joe this spring you'll know who you're looking at kids

I'm not gonna lie - I work at the DMV in Missouri and I've tried petitioning for THREE YEARS to get my coveted "RDWNGS" plate (because we can only have 6 letters :( and redwng/rdwing are both already taken) and the turd who has the plate hasn't renewed it since 2004. They're supposed to purge that stuff every 3 years!

I've debated getting a St. Louis Blues plate that looks something like this:

Pretty sure they won't find it as funny as I do though ;)

That's hilarious, Krystal. I doubt they'd find it as funny.

I tried every combination I could think of having to do with redwing, wingnut, winggrl, you name it- if it had 5-7 letters, I tried it.

I was ready to give up when my sister suggested using the Z instead of the S. I usually hate such contrived spellings, but in this case I allowed that the Z was an homage to Zetterberg.

Here they are on my old car (haven't got a pic of them on Stevie):
