I've started this in years past and it's always been fun so why not do it again. Tis a playoff tradition.

Alright folks, only positive thoughts in this thread please. Some sayings, quotes, videos, anything to send our team some good vibes and for us all to gather as the huge Wings fans that we are and bring our boys luck. LET'S DO THIS!!!

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Hamsters' names (current players in RED):  Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

                                                                      Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

                                                                      Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

I honestly think the Wings will surprise a lot of people and put together two very, very strong road games to start the series off properly. I think NSH comes into this year’s playoffs with legit expectations and pressure and I think DET can catch them stuttering off the hop. I say 3-1 Wings that will set the table nicely for Friday night.

I think the same thing. I am thinking the Wings come back home with a split series. Us taking Game 1 tomorrow would be HUGE and I think that's going to happen.

I can't believe it was all CG. Beginning it's obvious, when it got to Kronwall, I was questioning myself. I know it was all CG, but damn they did a great job.

Think about the Wings road record. A bunch of those losses were when they got blown out or just decided to not show up until the third period. How often do the Wings throw up stinkers (in terms of effort) in the PO? Basically never. I'm confident in the Wings on the road right now. Call me crazy, but I see at least a split and I dont see NSH's PP being so hot.
