Flyers play like a prime Colorado team on the road compared to us this season on the road.

Why has Emmerton been consistently dressed this season?

Why is Emmerton dressed instead of Nyquist?

Pre-game claimed it was because Emmerton has more experience.
Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.

GRIND. nyquist is still a little under-sized right now to grind or play against weber/suter and good thing we have emmerton cause he's our insurance center for helm - who did go out.
“You always know they are going to be tough and you have to do the little things. It's fun to play these high-ranked teams. It's a chance for us to see where we stand.” ~ Henrik Zetterberg

Even God doesn't know.

Emmerton is a completely ordinary, useless 4th liner. Nyquist can actually give us some spark and offensive danger.

As I said earlier, unlike Draper or Helm, he's a pointless 4th line center. Doesn't add anything to the team.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

It's so true. They won't shoot when it's open but they will when there's a guy right there

That's the best part. Analysts talking about how they are being very deliberate, not forcing things, waiting for an opening to present itself... and then the shot the finally do take is telegraphed right into the shinpads of a defender, or a shot from the side boards with no one in front, or a fluttering logo hunter.

Waiting and waiting and waiting for the worst possible shot to present itself.

C'me on boys! Take it inside to the net. We need a goal on this early power play and a follow up. Get it done...we need to steal the first one in trash illegal!!!
Raising another Red Wings Fan!

Money on the board-SCP 2013
I'm going with the 22 special. 2 bucks for every 22 goal. 2 bucks for every 22 fight
5 bucks for every series win....another 5 for every shut out! LETS GO RED WINGS!!
ADDENDUM: Since it looks like Toots may not reinserted in the series, I would like to offer Bert his money on the board. So, 2 bucks for every Bert fight, 2 bucks for every Bert goal AND since OT has been a pattern, I want to add 5 bucks for any RED WINGS OT winner. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

Well I know we don't help our cause by giving them 6 power plays over 2 periods. I just wish for once I'd see a sense of urgency and/ord hunger or drive from this team...and not wait until the last 3 minutes to start playing. Man...this team the past few seasons can be frustrating as all hell...

The refs have been less than stellar, the Wings are playing better, and the difference is two fluke goals. The Wings still aren't clicking on all cylinders yet. Plenty of time in the third to get this, no need to panic. Let's Go Wings!

Press are getting the breaks, including Helm's wrist. I hope it's not broken. The Pp or lack thereof will be the end for the wings.

To be honest, Nyquist hasn't showed me much this season either, although he is more skillful with the puck.

Because he's a centreman.

From what I see, two fluke goals, and the Wings are down by one. Bring it back for the win like when we played St. Louis! Go Wings!

The problem with the PP now is that there isn't any movement. It looks leagues better than what it did earlier in the year... we couldn't get possession. I'm okay with 1-2 shots, but players need to be rotating and moving the puck. Stickhandling for a 15 seconds in place won't do it.

Feels like every playoffs fluke goals go in on us, yet we have to make 3 perfect passes to get a goal in on these 'tenders who stand on their heads. I'd like to see a fluke or two go our way for a change and give us an easy playoff win.

Here we go!
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.
